Privacy
The short version
WikiWorld has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your settings and saved moments stay in your own browser.
What stays on your device
WikiWorld keeps a few things in your browser's local storage so they are there next time: whether labels are on, reduced motion, the true-scale Moon setting, and the moments you save. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.
What other services see
To show the globe and its stories, your browser talks to a few services directly. Each sees the usual request details, such as your IP address and browser, under its own privacy policy:
- Vercel hosts WikiWorld and keeps standard server logs.
- Article summaries and images load from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, run by the Wikimedia Foundation.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts.
WikiWorld does not set cookies and does not send these services anything about you beyond the request itself.
Later
When accounts and Pro arrive, this page will say exactly what an account stores, where, and how to export or delete it, before any of it goes live.
