Event summaries and many facts come from Wikipedia and Wikidata, written by volunteers. Article text is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence, Wikidata facts under CC0, and each image under the licence shown with it. Every card links to its source. The full list of sources and licences is on the Credits page in the app.
History is complicated and these sources can be wrong or incomplete. Borders on the globe are today's, used as stand-ins for historical regions. Check anything important against the original sources.

WikiWorld is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using it.
Independence
WikiWorld is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation.
